If you ever got to watch the afternoon news, you probably caught a cooking segment with Mr. Food. Every day, Mr. Food would give cooking tips to viewers with his "Ooh! It's so good" line.
He got his television start back in 1975. Before the Food Network, before Rachel Ray and all the cooking shows. In fact, the only cooking shows back then were Julia Childs and The Galloping Gormet. He also published 52 Mr. Food related cookbooks. He was almost like watching your grandfather doing a cooking show.
Art "Mr. Food" Ginsburg passed away Wednesday morning from cancer in his Florida home. He was 81.
