PEORIA – Blake Shelton played the Peoria Civic Center on Thursday, February 28, becoming the highest grossing country music show in the venue’s 37-year history. The country music star breaks the record previously set by Eric Church in 2017.

Mr. Shelton’s stop in Peoria is part of his Friends and Heroes 2019 Tour. Thursday night’s performance included acts from the Bellamy Brothers, John Anderson, Trace Adkins, and special guest Lauren Alaina.

“Mr. Shelton has set a new standard for country acts in the Peoria Civic Center moving forward,” said Peoria Civic Center General Manager Rik Edgar. “The country star never ceases to amaze fans with his performances. We appreciate Messina Touring Group for bringing him back to the Peoria Civic Center for this record-breaking night.”
