The hilarious Rodney Carrington is coming back to play Peoria on March 2 at the Peoria Civic Center Theater. Rodney’s been making us laugh for decades now on the Bob and Tom Show and in person, and he’s one of the top 5 highest-grossing, touring comedians, according to Pollstar.

Rodney is a super talented, comedic singer and actor, oh, and a world-class, stand-up comedian, too. His “Morning Wood” is perhaps his most famous song, but he’s got countless others.  His eight major record label comedy albums have sold over 3 million copies! His TV show, “Rodney,” aired on ABC for a couple of seasons, and he co-starred with Toby Keith in the feature film, “Beer for My Horses.”

Rodney’s creative, double entendre, raunchy humor has always played well in Peoria. He’s also infamous for his 2002 “arrest” here, when a practical joke with a stripper-playing-a-cop got the police department in a bit of hot water. The video of Rodney getting interrogated is still floating around somewhere on the internet. Tickets are on sale now at the box office and through Ticketmaster.com for his March 2 Peoria show.
